MadCAP Performance EnsemblesWhat is a MadCAP Performance Ensemble? MadCAP provides opportunities for people of all ages to work with teaching artists in the studio and on the stage. During the school year, students participate in Ensembles that provide broad, sequential instruction challenging each student to realize his or her highest level of artistic potential. MadCAP’s Ensemble approach to the teaching and learning of music and theatre is unique. Ensembles are open enrollment so that all people may find a place to develop their talents regardless of their experience. MORE INFORMATION At MadCAP, professional teaching artists work as a team to guide an “ensemble” of students in producing, rehearsing and performing in plays, musicals and concerts. MadCAP projects are designed to encourage students to develop their talents in the context of a community of supportive adult teaching artists. MadCAP is a member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts.
