Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew

For students who have completed grades 5-12

 

Lucentio, a student from Pisa, arrives to begin his study of philosophy at the university in Padua. When he sees Bianca, the beautiful daughter of a rich businessman, he falls in love at first sight. However, the lovers cannot be married as her father has sworn that she cannot wed until Katharina (or Kate), her older and wilder sister, has first made a match. Out of the midst comes Petruchio, a  nobleman, who is convinced that he is capable of ‘taming’ Padua’s ‘Shrew’, Kate. If he can do so, then he will become rich, thanks to her wealthy father.

A Barnyard Moosical

For students who have completed grades K-2

 

A Barnyard Moosical, is a hilarious and imaginative mini-musical about a unique and talented group of animals living at this unusual farm. Between the gourmet goats that refuse to eat garbage, a chorus line of hoofing cows, neatnik pigs and funky dancing chickens, this is a great show with lots of laughs and tons of imagination!

Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland”

For students who have completed grades 3-8

 

Join Alice’s madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game!   Feature roles are plentiful, including three Cheshire Cats and dozens of other wonderfully wacky characters.  You never know just how things will be cast at MadCAP…we do like to mix things up a bit!  This fast-paced stage adaptation of Alice in Wonderland features updated dialogue and new arrangements of all of the songs you know and love from the classic Disney animated feature, and then some!
