Membership Guidelines & Benefits

MadCAP is thrilled to have wonderful studio space in a desirable location. We are very interested in expanding our network and sharing our space with the community. We are doing this by establishing a membership organization called ‘Friends of MadCAP’. The ‘Friends’ organization will be under MadCAP’s umbrella. (MadCAP is a private, nonprofit with 501(c)(3) status founded in 1995.)

Member Benefits include:

• Use of MadCAP’s studios for rehearsals, weekly classes, workshops, meetings and special events (informal performances, parties and/or catered events.)

• Email newsletters with information about upcoming events.

• Discounts on tickets for studio events presented by MadCAP. (Also, select discounts on tickets to MadCAP performances at Overture Center)

• Invitations to special members only events.

• 5% tuition discount for all students in the Membership family.

Please note: Members agree to share the expenses related to opening the studio space to the community through membership fees as well as fees to cover staff time and services. Members also agree to encourage attendees at their events to support MadCAP’s space through community memberships.

Membership is open to all people without regard to race, creed, ethnic background, physical or mental disability or income level. MadCAP is an intergenerational organization with a large population of young people. Members must agree to make MadCAP a safe place for children.
